In Thailand they don’t bother with signs, but you’re not supposed to flush the toilet paper. Instead there is a little trash can in the corner. It keeps the floor clean…until it overflows.

Stupid Ferries
- Me: the first ferry gets to the island at 8:45, and all the dive boats leave at 8am, so i can't do a morning trip on Saturday
- Me: and then the last ferry leaves sunday at 4pm, but all the dive boats get back at 5pm, so i can't do an afternoon dive on sunday either!
- Me: so i thought, well, i'll just take a really late train back to Bangkok, and get to work a little late....but the super late boat gets you to the shore at 3am, and the last train leaves at 2am
- Me: auuuuughhhhh
- Me: how hard is it to think of this and coordinate??
- Mom: Maybe a lot of people drive or take tour buses.
- Me: oh, that is a good idea, maybe i can get a bus back...though that means no good sleep before work. but it would be worth it for 1 hour more of diving lol
- Mom: At least you get to do 4 dives.
- Me: yeah. that's plenty really, i should just be happy with that and enjoy a relaxed morning and afternoon at the beach
- Mom: that really sounds like a good plan. Relax and enjoy your time
- Me: no! must cram as many dives in as possible!

Still going to Ko Tao this weekend to scuba dive. I might end up taking Monday off so I can squeeze in a few more dives!
